Two people. Two journeys. One place.

Amygdala was not planned. It was arrived at, through years of living, working, choosing, and eventually choosing differently.

Marco Arcieri

Marco spent twenty-two years as an engineer, running his own studio, building things for others. All that time, there was Chopin. Not as a hobby, but as something waiting.

When he finally left, moving to the countryside and returning to the piano full time, he understood something he could not have learned any other way: that creativity needs the right plac. That the things we love most have a patience we rarely deserve.

Today Marco performs exclusively Chopin, and at Amygdala he creates the conditions for other pianists to discover what he discovered: that nature doesn’t just restore you. It unlocks you.

Heike Hoerdemann

Heike spent over twenty years in hospitality, learning how to hold space, how to make people feel at home, how to create environemnts where something good can happen.

But over time, something deepened. Yoga, which she has taught for nearly twenty years. Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient japanese art of self-healing that works with the body’s own energy to restore balance. A growing conviction that true hospitality is not just comfort - it is care.

At Amygdala Heike brings all of it together.

They built this place together. As a belief that people need spaces where they can stop performing and start remembering. That nature, when you really let it in, changes things. That creativity is not a talent. It is a birthright that belongs to everyone.

You are welcome here, at Amygdala.
